{ about concept }
our philosophy
Increasingly the industry requires its designers to be flexible and possess an ever wider range of technical and creative skills; a designer may be called upon to design a poster one day and a website the next. We believe in equipping our students with a variety of skills so that they can respond to the challenges of an ever-changing marketplace. In other words, multi-skilled, original thinkers who can make real and positive contributions to our society and culture.
our mission
We strive to develop a pool of creative and talented graduates from which the visual communications and other creative industries can draw. We collaborate closely with the industry, and continually augment the skills and resources required to deliver local and internationally recognised certified courses in keeping with the latest professional technologies.
our approach
Our approach is simple; what, why, how.
What: Design is essentially about problem-solving. We place an emphasis on the practical skills required to solve problems. Real-world projects and live briefs give our students the experience they need to advance their abilities and ideas.
Why: We encourage our students to question, to debate, to examine trends and to think creatively. This enables them to gain an understanding of the context of their work within the wider economy and the design industry.
How: Our students are exposed to cutting edge technology and up-to-date studio techniques.
