From the airport to Long Street is approximately 21km and takes approximately 20 minutes. Exit the Airport and continue for approx 3km; Merge onto the N2 HIGHWAY; Follow N2 STAD / CITY SIGN; After approx 18 km move into lane with M6 / SEA POINT / WATERFRONT SIGN; Proceed up Buitegracht Street for one kilometre and then turn left into Wale Street and right into Long Street.

Q: Do we have TV’s in the rooms?
A: Daddy Long Legs is an Art hotel. We want you to be inspired by the creative spirit and energy in the rooms and not be distracted by television - so we have no TV’s in the rooms – instead we have a big screen TV in the pub where you can enjoy a cold beer and watch your favorite sports event or catch a movie. Off course in the suites we do have TV’s. For the apartments we have TV’s and DVD players.
Q: Do we have en-suites?
A: All bedrooms are en-suite with showers and toilets (not to mention the fluffy white towels)
Q: Do you have an elevator?
A: Regrettably we have no elevator in this old Victorian character building.
Q: Is breakfast included in the price?
A: The price is accommodation only. We do have a special deal for Daddy Long Legs guests at the coffee shop below our hotel where you can enjoy a delicious home cooked breakfast.
Q: Is there a safe place where I can park my car?
A: There are parking bays outside the hotel and undercover parking available on request. Please note that the undercover parking should be arranged before arrival as space is limited
Q: Do we have internet/wireless access?
A: We do have internet access available at a special rate for hotel guests. Wireless internet is available, on request at a charge of ZAR25 per day.
Q: How far are we from the Convention Center and other amenities?
A: The Convention Center is a stone’s throw away, with an approximate journey time of 8 minutes, by foot. Long Street is considered to be the heart of Cape Town, anything you need whether it is food, tours or a doctor is just a few minutes away.
Q: How far is the nearest beach?
A: The beaches are about 2kms away from the city center. Only a 5 min drive by vehicle. Ask our friendly staff for any other information on getting to the beaches.
Q: Can you arrange Airport pickups?
A: We would gladly arrange a pick-up for you, please inform a member of staff when booking.
Q: What is the check-in and check-out time?
A: Check-in is at 14H00 and Check-out at 10H00.
Q: Do we have any laundry facilities?
A: We do not have any laundry facilities at the hotel. Please ask a member of staff for directions to the nearest Laundromat. The suites have private washing machines in each suite.
Q: Do we serve any meals?
A: We do not serve any meals on the premises; however our staff will inform you of the wealth of eating out options you have on Long Street and the surrounds.
Q: What major credit cards do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards.
Q: Can I pay by bank transfer?
A: Yes you can pay by bank transfer, please ask for our bank account details when booking. Please arrange the bank transfer prior to checking in.
Q: When do I need to pay?
A: Payment is due upon arrival and a deposit of 25% prior to arrival (except over peak season when full payment is required when making the reservation), for confirmation of booking.
Q: Are your prices per room or per person
A: All our prices are per room, occasionally on other websites the rates will be split up per person sharing. Special single person rates are available upon request.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellation within 30 days from date of arrival, 100% of the deposit is forfeited. Cancellation outside 30 days from date of arrival, 90% of the deposit is refunded.
Q: Are we pet friendly?
A: Please speak to our staff and we will make arrangements for your pet. Please note we cannot guarantee this and pet’s staying over may require an additional deposit.
